I'm gonna write in my LJ. I'm at work (the super ritzy Park 1000 office), I'm tired, I'm working off a Friday night high, and I'm BORED.
I've already played ninja for a half our, and I'm about ten seconds away from playing "see how small I can rip the pieces of the Post-It note!" I mean, GAH!
Ok, so one thing that's bothered me recently is when people react to the fact that I'm working/drinking/smoking on a Sunday. Its just a day people! Jews have Saturday as the sabbath, and Sunday is named after fucking pagan gods ANYWAY. So tonight I'm gonna smoke, maybe drink, and I'm gonna have a good time before returning home on Tuesday.
School's almost done! That just makes me really excited. Summer time, good hours, easy job, awesome pay, in the city, friends at home and at Loyola... It's just AWESOME. I cannot wait for the summer.
So now for some more exciting news:
ONE OF MY ROOMMATES IS IN THE MENTAL HOSPITAL.
That's right, my roommate went cuh-RAZY! Basically his girlfriend broke up with him which led to a spiral of drug abuse and self destruction that landed him in the crazy house. I've gotten two phone calls from him. They crack me up with their awkwardness.
My year was pretty boring. I did a play here at school which was COMPLETELY unlike high school. I made a bunch of friends through the theatre program that I'll definitely be seeing throughout the summer.

Holy shit that was awesome.
I just got back from a special advanced screening of Dreamgirls (the new movie with Jennifer Hudson, Beyonce, Jamie Foxx, and Eddie Murphy) and it was fucking awesome. AND WE GOT TO MEET JENNIFER HUDSON. THE FUCKING LEAD! It was so awesome. I think she could win an Oscar for her role, and the best part is she had a bigger role than BEYONCE!! Granted, Beyonce was awesome too.
Everyone go see this movie when it comes out on Christmas. Its totally worth it.

Man, long time no write. Like a long long long long time. Let's get right to business.
WHY THE FUCK WAS GREY'S SO AVERAGE ON THURSDAY!?! It was like so MEH. Although I must thank Amanda for introducing me to the wonder of Sara Ramirez years ago (how does she pronounce her name again?). She's just barely behind Addison for my favorite character. Six Degrees was the worst shit I ever saw.
I saw FROM JUSTIN TO KELLY AGAIN!!! We rented it and watched it Friday night. It was the hottest shit ever.
Desperate Housewives was fucking hilarious last night. Bree's first orgasm was FAMAZING! I was shocked by its goodness.
I'm really excited to watch Ugly Betty. I like this America chick.
So, my new fave show is Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. It's absolutely fantastic. SNL without, you know, all the GOD AWFUL NOT FUNNY SNL SHIT.
Dear Jesus I watch lots of TV. Like TOP MODEL!!! Michelle is my favorite. Bulimia never looked sexier than in her able hands.
I work out now. That's a relatively new development. Every weekday @ 7 AM, 730 on Saturdays, 8 on Sundays. Its pretty friggin awesome.

so, long time updating, about two months....
this summer fuggin rocks. highlights:
manju's: first BIG party of the summer and a-friggin-mazing.
carolyn's: also quite fun. renee + oliver + jello = ten time better than alcohol.
jamba: fucking awesome job with fucking awesome hours. EVERYONE SHOULD COME VISIT. or not.
nelly furtado: new album is amazing.
dixie chicks: ditto.
FELT: Hot taint?! totally hilarious puppet goodness with liezel, sheena, elaine, and friend.
7th heaven: 5-7 on ABC Family, reruns of the worst tv show on television, but my life would not be complete without seeing mary camden getting molested by her basketball coach.
reading REAL books: The Falls, To Kill a Mockingbird (yes i know i was supposed to read that freshman year), Abadazad, and returning to the Historian. Books really do take you to a magical place!
movies!!: devil wears prada, superman, prairie home companion (WITH MS. RICE!!), just my luck (so bad its bad) and lots of rented meryl streep have made my life. xmen3 sucked my balls, and not in that good way.
downtown: going to the beach and trying on H&M clothes with manju, abbas, and rupa was absolutely hilarious. i need those pictures STAT. also: training bras.
vanessa's: my only drunken night of the summer and ho boy was it hilarious. going WAY WAY WAY over my limit and puking in vanessa's neighbor's yard (but it was the gutter! no big deal). also, jess was fucking hilarious that night. JESUS STICKERS, dinosaurs, and getting Nailed, Hammered, Drilled, etc.
I miss Loyola so bad, though, but this summer has been filled with seeing people that I've really missed. That's always nice.

NOT ONLY DID I ACHIEVE MY LIFE'S GOAL OF GIVING JULIE ANDREWS A HIGH-FIVE. I GOT A FUCKING HUG!!!!
That's right. I gave her a HUG.
STORY: It started with an amazing video about how amazing this goddess of a woman is. It was very effective. We received SIGNED copies of her book The Great American Mousical and its adorable. Sadly, NO PICTURES ALLOWED!! Anyway, she comes out and we're all screaming and it's amazing. She talks a bit and then STRAIGHT to the Q&A.
Q&A starts off with some stupid bitch kids standing on chairs asking about what her favorite movie she's done was and if she really went down the stairs on a mattress in Princess Diaries 2. I am in the second row holding up my poster that reads:
DEAR JULIE,
CAN I GIVE YOU A "HIGH-FIVE"? MY HANDS ARE CLEAN.
The people around me have seen the sign and are motioning for the usher to give me the mic. The mic gets to me and at this point my pulse is 220. I stand up, hold up the poster up, and she reads it out loud. She does the amazingly cute Julie Andrews laugh and says "Sure! Come on up!" So I JUMP on stage and I'm standing TWO FEET AWAY from Julie Andrews. We make it all cute and wipe our hands on our pants and she holds up her hands and counts down "1...2...3!" Our hands collide and a flurry of beautiful sparks emanate from our hands amongst the throng of cheering audience members.
But 'tis not enough! Then she says "Give me a hug." And she opens up her arms and I GIVE JULIE ANDREWS A HUG.
So I'm flipping shit! People are screaming and it is amazing. My blue striped shirt has JULIE ANDREWS on it. It's absolutely the greatest thing that has ever happened to me in my life.
She finishes the night and it was like watching a goddess descend from the heavens to greet her loyal subjects. To get a picture of her in person, take everything you ever thought about her. Minus everything bad you think might be a possibility. Multiply that end number by 10934923764509273465183576. And you have the beauty that is Julie Mutha Fucking Andrews.

In recent news: I think I'm working at Jamba!!! I have orientation Sunday at 10 AM. My dreamjob has become a reality. Also, tonight is JULIE ANDREWS! FUCK YES!!!!
I'm at the apple store right now and while walking here a little boy lost his balloon and it floated to me and I jumped up and got it. The mommy told me I saved the day. I felt very satisfied.
